Structural / Senior Structural Engineer - Belfast

Tetra Tech has an excellent opportunity for a Structural / Senior Structural Engineer within the Belfast office, to become part of a team working on a variety of high profile projects throughout the UK & ROI. The post will offer the successful applicant an interesting, challenging and varied workload as well as allowing them to develop personal and professionally, as a Technician.

The Role:

• Undertake engineering design (to EuroCode/BS)

• Provide technical assistance to the members of the Structural Engineering teams

• Assist in the delivery of projects on time and to budget

• Work under the supervision of the Project Engineer(s) and the Design team leader

• Assist in design reviews and verification checks

• Undertake site visits and surveys

• Ensure compliance with all legislation, regulations and site procedures or instructions

• Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, statutory bodies and stakeholders

About You:

• MS Office/ MS Teams skills

• Minimum 2 years industry experience

• Experience in the use of AutoCad / REVIT

• Experience in the use of structural engineering design software

• Commitment to achieving professional qualifications in engineering/chartered status

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Self-motivated
