Street Cleansing Driver Operative.

Do you have a C1 category licence and are comfortable interacting with householders and other members of the public?

Are you happy to work outside, sometimes on the beach and seafront and work in all weathers?

If so, we'd welcome your application to become a Street Cleansing Driver Operative in our friendly team.

Job Introduction

At BHCC we really value our drivers, recognising them as key to delivering the front-line service to our residents, creating that great first impression of us.

We are looking for safe and considerate drivers who work well in a team and can be flexible, friendly, and organised. If you are newly qualified, we can provide you with the experience to develop your skills and career.

You will work within the streets service driving or operating a range of vehicles including cage vans, minimatics and mechanical sweepers that will assist you in providing high standards of cleanliness across the city.

We currently have one vacancy available.

West AM - Monday to Friday

06:00 - 14:00

Scale 4b: £29,071

Plus one hour contracted overtime per week
