This is an opportunity to join an early-stage team in Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) to launch a new and innovative business in the B2B transportation/freight space. ATS is looking for a highly-driven, entrepreneurial, and analytical Senior Product Manager to develop and execute scalable marketing and go-to-market strategies to drive brand awareness, program adoption, customer engagement and lead generation.
As part of this new team, you will be responsible for defining, scoping and implementing completely new ideas in order to meet our customers' and stakeholders' needs while satisfying performance and budget goals. You will work on defining the business strategy to transform the current transportation environment while influencing Senior Leadership on the direction for the Middle Mile business.
Responsibilities will include: • Brand strategy: Defining our overall brand/program strategy, and working with key leaders across the business to achieve this vision. This requires interaction with Amazon's WW operations and technical teams as well as other Amazon businesses. • Content creation: Overseeing the production of copy and creative assets in-line with our brand - in partnership with internal design teams and external agencies • Channel management: Launching and managing campaigns across internal and external channels, often in partnership with third-party agencies • Customer engagement: Developing effective processes for managing and monitoring communications with existing customers from multiple internal teams • Measure effectiveness of activities: Monitoring initiatives/projects execution and ensure that delivery is to the appropriate levels of quality and in line with its target date, ensuring the overall integrity within the program. • Effective Communication: building clear, precise, and regular communication with all stakeholders.
You are the ideal candidate if: • You have developed and implemented positioning/localisation strategies for a major brand or product portfolio • You are a talented storyteller with a proven track record in creating compelling brand assets and content • You are able to extract actionable insights from internal and external data and pivot campaign strategies accordingly • You are able to communicate with senior leaders in a clear, concise and structured manner - particularly in written form • You are a self-starter, and can juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often highly ambiguous environment • You can easily shift from strategic thinking to rolling up your sleeves and executing, in order to deliver results The position is based in Amazon's EU Headquarters in the vibrant city of Luxembourg.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or relevant field of study • 6+ years of experience in digital marketing, advertising, brand management, demand generation or similar roles in a B2B/B2C environment • Experience in effectively developing and implementing marketing plans that drive customer demand • Proven track record of using quantitative and analytical skills to generate insights to inform strategy and measure performance of marketing campaigns • Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment • Experience with digital marketing channels such as email, digital display, SEO, PPC. • Experience working with marketing tools including email, web analytics, CRM, and marketing automation platforms • Fluency in English
• MBA or Master's degree in Marketing • Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting • Experience in a start-up/high-growth environment • Fluency in German, French, Spanish, Polish, or other European languages Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
