What you will do:

• Engage and work with individuals who have complex and diverse communication profiles.
• Apply your expert knowledge and skills in specialist areas relevant to our paediatric cohort.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams while adhering to RCSLT Communication Standards.
• Communicate effectively with families, relatives, and carers, ensuring holistic support.
• Employ various SaLT assessment tools and intervention strategies.
• Formulate tailored support plans based on individual needs.
• Contribute to neurodiversity-awareness and trauma-informed practice.
• Participate in ongoing training to further develop skills relevant to the client group.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• HCPC Registration: Must hold valid HCPC registration.
• Relevant Experience: Previous experience in a similar paediatric SEMH setting is essential.
• Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required to travel between work sites.
• Professional Knowledge: Strong understanding of SaLT assessment tools, intervention strategies, neurodiversity, and trauma-informed practice.
