Job overviewThis is a replacement post for a Specialty Doctor in Obstetrics &Gynaecology.
This post would be suitable for a doctor with at least 4 years of postgraduate experience who would be interested in Obstetrics and General Gynaecology, outpatient Hysteroscopy (OPH) and Gynaecology Cancer/Oncology looking to work in NHS.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and enthusiastic team of 24 consultants delivering safe, effective care for obstetrics and gynaecology patients in Buckinghamshire.
The successful candidate will have a job plan based on 10 PAs and will be expected to support both obstetrics and gynaecology. The candidate will be based at Stoke Mandeville Hospital in Aylesbury with cross-site working at Wycombe Hospital running antenatal and gynaecological clinics, outpatient hysteroscopy, and support on-call as service requires.
The post holder will be encouraged and supported to develop their own interests within the agreed job plan with a focus on contributing towards Gynaecology recovery to fulfil national and Trust targets.
Main duties of the jobThe successful candidate will play an important part in day-to-day management of obstetric and gynaecological patients. The post holder will run Antenatal and General Gynaecology outpatient clinics and outpatient hysteroscopy with specialist clinics based on clinical skills and experience.
