Detailed job description and main responsibilitiesThe post-holder will support outpatient duties, theatre lists in Breast Surgery and MDT meetings as well as clinical admin as part of a multi-disciplinary team approach to care within the speciality.

Qualifications & Registration
Essential criteria
- Full registration (with a license to practice) with the General Medical Council (GMC)
- Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons or equivalent
Desirable criteria
- Higher degree/qualification
- MD/MS/PhD
Training & Experience
Essential criteria
- Completed at least four years' full-time postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a part-time or flexible basis) at least two of which will be in a specialty training programme in a relevant specialty or as a fixed term specialty trainee in a relevant specialty; or shall have equivalent experience and competencies
- Experience in wide variety of Breast surgery work undertaken in a district general setting.
- Evidence of participation in CME/CPD in the last 12 months.
Desirable criteria
- Breast Advanced Disease Course
- Independent Breast examination
- Six years' full-time postgraduate training
- MDT and Multi-specialty discussion
- Experience of assisting in theatre
