What you will do:

• Support the Team Manager in delivering strategic objectives and contributing to the development of community mental health services.
• Undertake comprehensive assessments for adults and young people transitioning into Adult Services using person-centred outcome planning approaches.
• Develop, implement, and review care packages in partnership with service users, carers, and partner agencies.
• Manage an adult caseload, ensuring care plans remain effective, responsive, and focused on achieving positive outcomes.
• Maintain accurate case records and performance data using departmental information systems.
• Participate in regular supervision, mandatory training, and continuous professional development.
• Travel across Argyll and Bute as required to meet the operational needs of the service.

Essential requirements:

• Diploma in Social Work (DipSW), Certificate of Qualification in Social Work (CQSW), or an Honours/Postgraduate Degree in Social Work.
• Current registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
• Experience working directly with adults within statutory social work, including assessment and care management.
• Sound knowledge of the Adult Support and Protection (Scotland) Act 2007 and adult social care legislation.
• Excellent communication, assessment, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel throughout the service area to fulfil operational requirements.
