We are recruiting Social Care Workers at Caerphilly County Borough Council Working hours and Contract: 8 x Permanent - 30 hours
1 x Permanent - 22.5 hours
3 x Relief, Casual - 0 hours
Location: Various Locations Throughout the County Borough

We are looking for caring and committed Social Care Workers to support individuals with learning disabilities to live independently, achieve their goals, and take part in their local community.
This rewarding role involves providing person-centered support and promoting choice, dignity, and independence. A driving licence is essential, as you will be required to support individuals using their own vehicle to access activities, appointments, and social opportunities.

For the role, we ask that you have: - The ability to achieve a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Health and Social Care within an agreed timescale.
- An understanding of the principles that underpin a quality care environment i.e. Privacy, dignity, respect, choice, independence and rights.
- The Ability to work shifts on a rota basis, and work flexibly, including weekends, bank holidays and sleep in duties.
- Experience with people who require support and assistance with all aspects of personal care, daily living and social skills.
