Site Engineer

Carmichael UK is recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major section of the HS2 project in Buckinghamshire. This is an excellent opportunity to work on one of the UK's largest infrastructure schemes, delivering critical earthworks and drainage packages within a high-performing project team.
The Role

As Site Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day engineering management of earthworks and drainage activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately, and in line with programme and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying for earthworks and drainage works
• Producing and maintaining accurate site records
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical documentation
• Managing subcontractors and ensuring compliance with design requirements
• Supporting quality assurance and as-built documentation
• Liaising with site management, design teams and stakeholders
• Ensuring health, safety and environmental standards are maintained at all times

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer on major civil engineering projects
• Strong background in earthworks and drainage
• Proficient with setting out equipment and surveying techniques
• Civil Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent)
• CSCS Card
• Full right to work in the UK
