Part time 29.6 hours per week (4 days per week to include Friday)Job Location: County Hall Exeter + discussion regarding agile working to meet the needs of the business.

What skills & qualities we need from you?: - Confidence in using a laptop (TEAMS/Outlook/CoPilot/Calendars/Microsoft Edge/Excel/Word). Some training will be provided.
- Positive & enthusiastic attitude towards learning and supporting your colleagues.
- Sense of humour.
- Some experience of note taking/minute taking (typed) at meetings or willingness to learn the task.
- Good communication skills & the ability to build good working relationships.
- Ability to plan workload for the day and be adaptable when service needs might change.
- Ability to think on your feet and work with colleagues to resolve problems - you need to be solution focussed and roll up your sleeves to help!
- Remain calm and resilient under pressure.
What key tasks/responsibilities will the role involve: - You will be using a laptop and various internal systems and Microsoft packages to conduct your role.
- You will be working in an ‘agile' way - office working as part of your week will be required and opportunities to discuss some home working with your line manager can be explored.
- Drafting & responding to emails.
- Operating from multiple busy shared mailboxes and juggling lots of competing demands.
- Supporting before/during/after some meetings in terms of administration.
- Potential for note taking at a variety of virtual TEAMS meetings (typed).
- Uploading/downloading evidence to/from internal systems.
- Inputting data into spreadsheet/word documents - you will need to be confident with excel and its functions to conduct your role.
- Supporting other administrative staff with office operations.
- Providing support to colleagues within other services as and when required to meet business needs.
- Processing incoming/Outgoing mail.
- Other administrative activity to support the needs of the business as discussed with your manager - - further detail within the job description.
