Training & Qualifications Essential criteria - GCSE English Language & Maths Grade C (or equivalent)
- RTT/Clinic Management/Waiting List or relevant experience
- Experience of Microsoft Excel
Desirable criteria - Good Standard of General education
- NHS systems and procedures
- HISS/Patient Centre experience
- Dit 3 experience
Experience Essential criteria - One year's experience of admin and clerical role
- Knowledge of the waiting list process
- Experience of dealing with customer complaints
- Ability to co-ordinate the administration of the care pathway
Desirable criteria - Previous NHS/public sector experience
- Understanding of medical terminology
Communication and relationship skills Essential criteria - Effective communication skills at all levels
- Managing relationships with medical colleagues
Desirable criteria - Experience of dealing with complaints
Analytical and Judgement skills Essential criteria - Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a wider team
- Effective management of patients within local and national targets
- High standard of data quality skills and demonstration of attention to detail
Planning and organisation skills Essential criteria - Excellent Organisational and planning skills with ability to priortise schedules and workloads
- Ability to plan patient care in line with prescribed pathways and timeframes

Disclosure and Barring Service CheckPlease note if you are successful in obtaining this position and the post involves regulated activity you will be required to undertake a Disclosure & Barring Service check.
The Trust will pay for the check initially and the money will then be deducted from your salary over a three month period commencing on your first month's payment.
The current price of a check is £38 for an enhanced and £18 for a standard check.
