We work in partnership with a range of local, regional and national partners to develop and manage high-quality sport facilities including, the National Indoor Athletics Centre, Tennis Centre and Archers Arena on our Cyncoed Campus along with a number of 21st Century Schools across the City.

We're seeking two Senior Strength and Conditioning Coaches to join the Performance Services Team, working in a supportive and collaborative environment, delivering to our various performance programmes aiming to provide the very best student-athlete experience. You'll also engage with programme members to ensure they have every opportunity to achieve their full potential.

You'll make an impact by:

• Plan, deliver, and reflect on individualised strength & conditioning programmes;
• Be an integral member of the multi-disciplinary team, providing technical expertise in physical preparation and supporting the overall progress of the performance programme.
• Maintain regular contact with staff from selected Performance Programmes such as Coaches, Performance Directors, Physiotherapists and other support staff;
• Input into the planning process for Performance Programmes;
• Manage and provide guidance to placement students and graduate roles.

What you'll bring

To excel in this role you'll embrace a team approach, that not only celebrates an inclusive environment but one that promotes high level sporting achievement as well as physical and personal development. You'll bring:

• Experience of working as a strength and conditioning coach within a performance or pathway environment.
• Experience of leading the elements of physical preparation planning and delivery.
• Experience of using diagnostic equipment and athlete programming and monitoring systems (VALD, Gymaware, TrainMyAthlete etc).
• Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with athletes, staff and stakeholders.
