This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the University's quality assurance and enhancement framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while contributing to the continuous improvement of academic quality and standards.

A significant focus of the role will be coordinating the University's engagement with Professional, Statutory and Regulatory Bodies (PSRBs). You will provide specialist advice and support to colleagues across the University, helping Schools prepare for accreditation activity, monitoring outcomes, and maintaining oversight of institutional requirements.

Working closely with academic and professional services colleagues, you will contribute to a wide range of quality assurance and enhancement activities, support policy development, provide governance support to University committees, and help identify opportunities to improve processes and services.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing the maintenance, development and publication of the University's Professional, Statutory and Regulatory Bodies (PSRB) Register, ensuring the accuracy of institutional accreditation data and compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Supporting Schools and programme teams in responding to accreditation outcomes, monitoring conditions, recommendations and action plans arising from external review and accreditation activity, and maintaining oversight of progress to ensure institutional compliance.
  • Contributing to the development, review and implementation of quality assurance policies, procedures and enhancement initiatives that support institutional priorities.
  • Providing high-quality governance support to University committees, including agenda planning, preparation of papers, minute taking, follow-up actions and procedural advice.

You will be a motivated and detail-oriented professional with:
  • Experience of supporting quality assurance activity in higher education.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience of gathering, analysing and presenting complex information.
  • The ability to work independently, and prioritise workload, managing competing deadlines.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to influence quality assurance practice across the University, working with colleagues and external stakeholders to support academic excellence, regulatory compliance and an outstanding student experience.
