Senior Practitioner - Placement & Fostering Support Team

Job description

Children Services has invested in improving and developing its fostering service, with children at its heart. We work in partnership with our foster carers to respond to the dynamic challenges arising from Welsh Government's "removal of profit from children's care" agenda. As a key member of the management team, you will help drive service improvements, working collaboratively with partners to deliver positive outcomes for children in foster care. You will oversee fostering assessments, manage a small, complex caseload, and mentor and supervise social workers, leading practice development and driving improvements to deliver better outcomes across the fostering service.
