This is a Part Time position 4 days per week (9.6 hors) Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this role. Applicants mst have a crrent, nrestricted right to work in the K. Family Spport & Protection (FS&P) Family Spport and Protection works with families facing long-term, complex challenges. This involves interventions lasting over three months, addressing sitations where children are nder child protection or child-in-need plans, or where they can no longer live at home, necessitating care proceedings.

The Role of Senior Practitioner As a Senior Practitioner, yo will manage a complex caseload and provide expert spervision and coaching to colleages, driving positive change for children, yong people, and families. Yo will also deptise for the Team Manager, leading the team and managing dty services.

Accontabilities As a Senior Practitioner, yo will: Provide Expert Gidance:Offer expert advice and professional spervision to social workers, contribting to the development of practice standards.
Assess and Spport:Evalate complex social care needs and develop spport plans for vlnerable individals, children, and families.
Ensre Compliance:Work within stattory legal frameworks, policies, and gidelines, determining when stattory intervention is necessary.
Manage Caseloads:Handle a complex caseload, ensring accrate and timely data, reports, and presentations.
Lead in Critical Sitations:Participate in case conferences, cort attendances, meetings, and stattory reviews, taking the lead when a social care perspective is reqired.
Safegard and Promote Welfare:Condct assessments and plan interventions to safegard and promote children's welfare.
Bild Strong Relationships:Foster effective working relationships across the Concil, with partners, and volntary agencies to help people get the best start in life and age well.
Deliver Expertise:Provide high-level expertise in specific practice areas, leading and contribting to their development.
Achieve Targets:Meet individal and shared targets and objectives defined annally within the performance management framework.

The Experience Yo Will Bring A recognised social work qalification i.e. Diploma, degree or master's in social work, CQSW, CSS or eqivalent, with crrent registration with Social Work England (SWE) as a registered social worker. Evidence of contining professional development, aligned to any relevant Professional Competency/Capability frameworks or Knowledge and Skills Statements. Significant experience of social work, demonstrating a comprehensive and p to date nderstanding of all relevant legislation, reglation and gidance. Experience of mentoring both Social Work stdents and newly qalified and experienced Social Work staff, being a sbject matter expert in professional social work practice. Experience of chairing meetings involving clients, family members and/or carers and other mlti-agency professionals. Developing strong relationships with partners, other agencies and the local commnity to achieve joint objectives and offer a spportive framework for children, yong people and families. In depth nderstanding of delivery of vale for money interventions balanced against need.
