You'll combine strategic leadership with hands-on fundraising, managing a seven-figure personal portfolio, securing transformational gifts and working closely with our US Board and professional advisers. You'll also line manage a Philanthropy Executive and help connect American philanthropists, foundations and corporates with our ambitious fundraising priorities.

  • Build influential relationships and networks across the US philanthropic community, creating exceptional cultivation and stewardship opportunities.
  • Develop compelling funding propositions with colleagues, clinicians and researchers.
  • Line manage and develop a Philanthropy Executive, supporting a collaborative and high-performing fundraising culture.

  • Exceptional relationship-building and influencing skills, with confidence engaging senior philanthropists, Board members and influential stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration and people management skills, with experience managing complex relationships and developing colleagues.

Experience in healthcare, medical research, higher education or international fundraising would be advantageous.
