This Opportnity:

The Sstainable Infrastrctre team, part of the broader EconomicGrowth & Natral Capital (EGNC) Portfolio based in Palladim's Americas region, partners with mining companiesto design and implement positive impact programs-sch as workforce skilling,reforestation, and sstainable agricltre-that benefit mining commnities andregions. The team works across the entire mining life cycle, helping clientsachieve ESG targets while bilding the fondation for commnity resiliencebeyond mine closre. The team draws on expertise from the wider EGNC portfolio,which also works with private sector clients as well as philanthropic bodiesand diverse donors (IDB, SDA, AFD, WB) to spport agricltral vale chaindevelopment, enhance women's access to finance, and mobilize capital forclimate-positive initiatives. Palladim isseeking a Senior Manager, Sstainable Infrastrctre - Environment tolead team management and provide technical expertise across bsinessdevelopment and project delivery in environmental risk management, impactstrategy, and implementation, particlarly within mining, infrastrctre,climate, and natre-based soltions. The role reqires strong expertise inenvironmental risks in mining, inclding experience designing and implementingenvironmental management plans, and overseeing biodiversity, decarbonization,major hazards, tailings, waste, water, air, and rehabilitation initiatives.Candidates shold have experience in the closre phase of the asset lifecycle,inclding Post Mining Land se planning and program design, and demonstrate atrack record of working with diverse mining clients in North America. Theposition also spports bsiness development efforts sch as strategic planning,pipeline forecasting, proposal development, partnerships, networking, andrecritment. Flency in English and one additional langage - French,Spanish, or Portgese is reqired.

Reporting Lines:

This role reports to the Director, Sstainable Infrastrctre (K based)

PrimaryRoles and Responsibilities:

Project Management

Lead mltidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-qality, client-focsed reslts across complex assignments

Oversee proposal development, bdgeting, project planning, implementation, and reporting to ensre timely and effective delivery

Identify, engage, and manage partners and sbcontractors to strengthen technical qality and delivery capacity

Manage partner and sbcontractor performance to ensre contractally compliant delivery of agreed inpts, otpts, and otcomes

Serve as Project Director, providing qality assrance for deliverables and oversight of bdgets, client relationships, and overall project performance

Bsiness Development

Contribte to the identification, assessment, and prsit of new bsiness opportnities with a focs on opening bsiness with new clients and broadening Palladim's work in the closre and environmental performance space and ability to leverage their own network activating new client portfolios qickly

Contribte to the preparation of technical proposals principally targeting private sector and blended finance opportnities with mining sector clients (focs on impact program design & implementation, work with standards setting bodies to enhance commnity resilience reqirements, closre and post mining land se engagements, and integrated environmental risk and management spport etc.)

Technical Work

Work with the team to develop short-term inpts and/or consltancy assignments on topics sch as environmental risk management, biodiversity, decarbonization, major hazards, tailings, waste, water, air qality, rehabilitation, regional economic development, climate finance and natre-based soltions

Lead technical inpt into the design, planning and delivery of environmental and socioeconomic impact initiatives driven by mining companies, inclding the development and implementation of environmental management plans and systems that also engage private sector, impact fnders or development organizations to co-invest in positive impact

Contribte to research, analysis and pblication of technical reports, case stdies, policy/program approaches, and reslts smmaries on themes related to environmental risk, commnity resilience, regional economic development, post mining land se, closre, rehabilitation, and social and jst transition in emerging markets

Help to identify, bild, and maintain relationships with partners and consltants that can provide environmental and technical expertise to Palladim-managed projects

Stay crrent on trends and tendencies in the mining sector and track strctral, governance and ESG target changes for key clients, inclding evolving expectations on biodiversity, decarbonization, tailings, waste, water and closre

Work with others in the EGNC Portfolio to promote and bild Palladim's technical capability, especially regarding integrated environmental and socioeconomic work with mining companies

EssentialCriteria:

7+ years of senior-level experience in a client-facing management role on large, private/pblic sector projects, especially relating to mining indstry, environmental management, closre, and/or ESG implementation with exposre to climate, natre-based soltions or regional economic development

5+ years working directly with mining companies as clients

Flency in English and at least one other langage, in either French, Spanish, or Portgese

Masters in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Natral Resorces, Economics, Anthropology, Sociology, Bsiness Administration, International Development, Politics or related discipline preferred

Strong networks in the mining and minerals sector

Preference for experience managing teams across geographies and cltres

Proven experience in or on emerging market isses and/or contexts

Experience leading bsiness development efforts

Strong environmental backgrond, inclding nderstanding of environmental risks in the mining context and demonstrated experience leading the design and implementation of environmental management plans and/or managing biodiversity, decarbonization, major hazards, tailings, waste, water, air, and rehabilitation efforts

In-hose experience working for a mining company preferred

CoreAbilities Reqired:

Strong ability to manage mltiple simltaneos tasks and/or complex projects/assignments as demonstrated by experience to date

Excellent written and oral commnication skills as demonstrated by speaking engagements and/or written docments prodced

Financial acmen and the ability to generate and analyze financial reports and forecasts sing Excel

Sond problem-solving and decision-making skills

Experience implementing post mining land se programs and working in the closre and rehabilitation phase of the asset life cycle

Experience engaging mltisector stakeholders in mining commnities and regions

Experience with conceptalizing and writing technical proposals and reports for private sector clients as well as international donors, inclding both PowerPoint and

text docments

Experience with conceptalizing and delivering presentations to small and large grops both in-person and virtally
