Dixons Carphone are hiring for a Senior Internal Communications Business Partner to play a key role in our highly regarded team, working in partnership with leaders, functions and project teams to develop and deliver internal communications that are aligned to the company strategy and enable Dixons Carphone to achieve its business goals through positive colleague engagement.
This role will provide advice and support to DC's Omnichannel area, which brings together all the company's selling channels - both Retail and Online, as well as its Technology and Health & Safety teams. It's led by the Chief Operating Officer and represents the majority of the company's colleagues. DC has exciting plans to become a world class omnichannel retailer and this is a part of the business that's transforming at real pace.
As part of this role, you'll be responsible for:
The development and delivery of strategic communications programmes across the business, working with colleagues and other stakeholders to deliver timely, targeted, creative and effective internal communications that meet defined objectives.
Leading the development of a communications framework that enables the Executive Committee (ExCo) member and their senior leadership team to deliver effective leader-led communications that facilitate two-way engagement with colleagues.
Provide informed communications support to stakeholders, and deliver clear compelling communications to the audience- finding innovative ways of driving awareness and understanding.
Build strong stakeholder relationships with senior leaders, supporting them to define their communication requirements. Providing strategic advice, counsel and coaching, with the aim of delivering best practice internal communications
Using formal and informal measurement to evaluate the effectiveness of communications and to help improve future communications
Coaching and supporting other members of the team, helping to develop, motivative and inspire high-performing, strategic internal communications professionals
Desired Skills & Experience:
Demonstrable experience in Internal Communications.
Experience leading the planning, development, delivery and measurement of internal communications programmes that support cultural and organisational change within large, complex organisations.
Experience delivering internal communications to a non-office-based
Ability to articulate clearly and simply key strategic messages to different audiences
Ability to successfully influence and manage stakeholder relationships at executive level, including coaching them on their communications delivery
