Join our midwifery team as we rise to meet the challenges of today's changing maternity climate.
We are committed to providing women centred midwifery led care, initiated by all women/birthing people booked at home and a continual drive towards normality throughout pregnancy. This is balanced with obstetric care provision including women who require the support of our Level 3 neonatal services.
Our Maternity service offers Midwives a wealth of experience and balance to be able to provide care for both low and high risk women/birthing people and support for their partners and families. You will form part of the midwifery team providing health promotion and information to women/birthing people and families to ensure optimum outcomes of care. We have invested in midwifery posts and Consultants to support the care we offer to women and families.
Our recent projects include development of a community midwifery hub model.
Our Maternity service has over 5,000 births a year, offering care to a diverse and growing community through community and hospital based services. With a level 3 Neonatal Unit on site, we offer care to not only our local population of Luton and South Bedfordshire, but to women/birthing people in Hertfordshire and beyond.
