Detailed job description and main responsibilities

Our workforce model is centred on delivering safe and effective patient care, while also fostering leadership and supporting the ongoing development of our nursing team. Successful candidates will benefit from a period of supernumerary status and receive comprehensive on-the-job training, delivered by a dedicated and experienced team.

The successful applicant will need to have ED or SDEC experience.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Numeracy/Literacy skills to Level 1 (GCSE Grade 2-3, D-F or equivalent) IELTS or OETS (Overall score of C1) accepted for overseas applicants (Level 7 in Listening/speaking/reading & Level 6.5 in Writing)
  • Care Certificate or must complete within 12 weeks of commencing employment
  • NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Care/Equivalent qualification or willing/required to complete if successful (If applicant has 3 years or more care experience this is voluntary)


Experience

Essential criteria
  • 12 months experience in a professional contract as a Healthcare Assistant or equivalent
