Education and Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Full GMC registration with licence to practice
  • MBBS or equivalent


Desirable criteria
  • MRCOG
  • Gynaecological ultrasound intermediate competencies


Experience

Essential criteria
  • 12 months middle grade/Registrar-level experience in NHS O&G practice
  • Competences signed off for nonrotational forceps and rotational vacuum delivery


Personal qualities

Essential criteria
  • Strong team player
  • Kind, affable and resilient


Skills and knowledge

Essential criteria
  • Solid Understanding of Clinical Governance
  • Experience of Clinical Audit
  • IT proficiency including, email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Good organisational skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Multi-disciplinary teamwork skills
  • Emotional maturity and willingness to seek help from senior


Teaching and Training

Essential criteria
  • Experience of undergraduate and post graduate teaching


Desirable criteria
  • Medical Education or Adult Education Training
  • Trained ALSO, MOET or NALS instructor
