Education and qualifications

Essential criteria
  • GMC registration
  • MBBS (or equivalent)
  • MCGOG


Desirable criteria
  • National training number


Experience

Essential criteria
  • Completion of at least 5 years of Specialty Training (ST) in O&G (or equivalent
  • Completion of the RCOG Intermediate Ultrasound Module in Normal Fetal Anatomy or equivalent


Desirable criteria
  • Experience in Maternal Medicine


Personal Qualities

Essential criteria
  • Research experience, presentations, publications


Desirable criteria
  • MD, PhD or equivalent


Skills and knowledge

Essential criteria
  • Solid Understanding of Clinical Governance
  • Experience of Clinical Audit
  • IT proficiency including, email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Good organisational skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Multi-disciplinary teamwork skills
  • Emotional maturity and willingness to seek help from senior
