The Vacancy
Do you have the skills, qualities and passion needed to make a positive difference to the lives of children with a disability and their families in North Lincolnshire?
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated senior care officer to work within our children's homes at Tree Tops.
About Us
Tree Tops and the children's homes within, offer both short breaks and a residential home to children and young people who have a physical and/or learning disability, including those with a complex health need and/or Autistic Spectrum Disorder.
The Role
We are looking for a committed, creative and versatile individual who will lead a team alongside the home and deputy home manager to create a family style home environment, and provide care as outlined within each child or young person's individual Care Plan and/or Placement Plan. This may include providing outreach support away from the home.
Applicants are required to comply with and take a lead responsibility to ensure day to day compliance with the Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards and all other relevant legislation, organisational policies and procedures in day-to-day practice.
Applicants will need to have a working knowledge of child development, child protection, child in need and children in care frameworks. Experience of working with disabled children and families with complex needs, including delivering direct personal care is essential.
