Education & Qualification

Essential criteria

• Ability to understand basic English (written & spoken) and Maths
• RQF Level 2 qualifications (e.g. GCSE grade 4/C or above or equivalent in English and Maths

Desirable criteria

• Level 2 qualification in Science Manufacturing Process Operator (SMPO) or an equivalent Pharmacy related qualification

Experience & Knowledge

Essential criteria

• Experience of following written procedures & instructions accurately
• Experience of working accurately and paying attention to detail
• Understanding of the importance of quality & safety at work
• Understanding of the need to follow procedures & maintain accurate records

Desirable criteria

• Experience in Pharmacy, Manufacturing or a cleanroom environment
• Awareness of aseptic services or pharmaceutical manufacturing
• Awareness of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)

Key Skills & Abilities

Essential criteria

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to maintain accurate records
• Ability to follow written procedures & instructions accurately
• Basic numeracy & literacy skills
• Basic IT skills, including the ability to use electronic systems & maintain accurate electronic records

Desirable criteria

• Ability to work in a cleanroom or controlled environment
• Ability to organise & priorities routine tasks

Disclosure & Barring Check Fee

Where your role requires a DBS check, the Trust will pay the fee upfront and reclaim the cost (including a £5 admin fee) from your first month's salary. Volunteers are exempt.
