School Caretaker with DBS!

£14.00 per hour PAYE (Negotiable for the right candidate)
Temporary Contract
37.5 hours per week

Proman UK is looking for 2 Caretakers to join the team at a School site. This is a hands-on role covering site security, maintenance, porterage, and general facilities support.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• Early Shift: 06:00 - 14:00
• Late Shift: 10:00 - 18:00
• Occasional weekend work required

Key Duties:

• Opening and locking the school
• General building maintenance and minor repairs
• Fire alarm testing and routine site checks
• Site security patrols
• Porterage and room set-ups
• Managing contractors and visitor sign-ins
• Responding to day-to-day school requests
• Ensuring Health & Safety and COSHH compliance

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS required
• Previous caretaking, maintenance, or facilities experience preferred
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Must be flexible with shift patterns
• Own safety boots/shoes required (PPE provided)
