Salary: SO2 pt 26 £19.32 per hour
Hours: 25.5 (Term time only + 15 days)
Contract: Fixed Term Maternity Cover (30/11/2026 - 30/11/2027)

Kerr Mackie is a large primary school in the Roundhay area of Leeds. The school is multi-cultural with pupils from a wide range of backgrounds. Our creative curriculum and teaching approaches together with the vibrant learning environments enthuse, engage and motivate our children.
We are seeking to appoint a School Business Manager (maternity cover). Duties will include managing the admin and site teams, budget management, HR support for SLT and health & safety responsibilities.
The successful candidate will:
- Be approachable and a confident member of the staff team
- Willing to drive our school forward on its continuing journey
- Supportive to SLT
- Be confident in managing school budgets
- Report to governors
- Manage health & safety priorities across school, working closely with the site team and Headteacher
- Manage the admin team on a day to day basis and managing review cycles/performance
- Complete data returns such as census requirements
