The Role

An SAP RAP ABAP developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining SAP Fiori-ready applications and OData services using the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).

Your responsibilities:

Develop and enhance SAP RAP/ABAP applications on SAP S/4HANA and BTP.

Design and implement CDS Views, AMDPs, and OData services.

Transform legacy ABAP solutions into S/4HANA architecture.

Develop Adobe Forms for online and offline scenarios.

Prepare technical specifications and development documentation.

Perform unit testing and ensure code quality.

Support business users and resolve application issues.

Follow SAP Clean Core principles and development best practices.

Your Profile

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

• Strong SAP ABAP Cloud development experience on S/4HANA and BTP.
• Hands-on expertise in SAP RAP (Managed & Unmanaged BOs).
• Experience developing custom applications with parent-child relationships.
• Strong experience with APIs, OData services, and deep structure handling.
• Proficiency in OOPs ABAP and modern ABAP syntax.
• Expertise in CDS Views, AMDP, Adobe Forms, BAPI, BADI, and ALV.
• Experience with SAP enhancements, user exits, and extension frameworks.
• Knowledge of SAP Clean Core architecture and extensibility.
• Strong understanding of ABAP performance optimization and best practices.

• Clean Core Extension knowledge
• Experience/knowledge in Professional Services development
• SAP Build Knowledge
• Developing experience with SAP BTP
• Work experience in S4 HANA Public Cloud
• Draft scenario handling experience
