Lancashire Constabulary are seeking for a PNC & LEDS Data Quality Supervisor to join our Contact Management team at Hutton Headquarters.
This is a part-time job-share position (2 days per week - Thursday and Friday), responsible for supervising a team of Data Quality Officers who ensure accurate, compliant, and high-quality records on the Police National Computer (PNC) and Law Enforcement Data Service (LEDS).
Key Responsibilities: - Leading, supporting, and developing staff to deliver a high-quality PNC and LEDS service.
- Ensuring compliance with national standards, legislation, and data protection requirements.
- Monitoring, auditing, and quality-checking data entries to maintain accuracy and integrity.
- Providing guidance and expert advice to internal departments and external partners on complex data issues
- Provide advice and guidance to senior officers, external customers and other external agencies in respect of more complex issues of accuracy of computer records, and PNC & LED's Policy and legislation, ensuring compliance in that the information given complies with current regulations, both locally and nationally, and to promote effective working relationships

Skills and Experience: - Must attend PNC & LEDs Training during work hours
- Experience in team leadership, data quality assurance, and stakeholder engagement.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Law Enforcement Data Service and associated court / DVLA systems i.e Libra, Bichard, Common Platform, Exhibit, DVLA / DVS/PNC/STORM
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of interrogating the Connect system to support the integration and use of the Law Enforcement Data Service and the Police National Computer.
- Experience of working with minimal supervision, organising, and prioritising own workload, working on your own initiative, investigating problems, developing solutions and taking appropriate timely action to resolve them
Whilst this is a flexible working position, the post holder will be expected to provide office-based cover between 9:00am and 5:00pm, in line with team requirements and on a rotational basis. The successful candidate may also be required to provide cover for public holidays on a rotational basis.
Vetting and Medical:Please be aware, as a condition of your appointment you must undergo and pass Management Vetting (MV). Please be aware there is a minimum 5 year UK residency requirement for Recruitment vetting and you must be 18 years old at the point of applying. Successful applicants will also be subject to a medical assessment.
