Salary: SCP 18, £30,760 per annum
Hours: 37.5
Contract: Permanent
Location: Pelican House - New Vision Bradford, Bradford/ Airedale - all service site locations.
Closing Date and Time: Monday 12th October 2026 at 9am

Are you passionate about making a difference to the lives of those who need it most? If so, we have a rewarding opportunity and would love to hear from you!

New Vision Bradford is a partnership between the Bridge Project, Create Strength Group, Project 6 and Waythrough. Under this umbrella, the partnership delivers an adult drug and alcohol service for the Bradford and Craven District, aiming to help people tackle the use of alcohol and drugs and reduce risk taking behaviours through dedicated prevention, intervention, and support.

The Bridge Project is excited to be recruiting a full-time Rough Sleeper Recovery Coordinator, joining the New Vision Bradford partnership to make a real impact in people's lives. It is essential that the successful applicant can travel across the district, getting to different locations so a full driving licence, access to a vehicle and business insurance for work purposes is an essential requirement.

The role will work as part of the multi-disciplinary team delivering high-quality drug and alcohol treatment by supporting service users from point of entry into the service and throughout their treatment and recovery journey. Outreach is a key component of the role to connect with individuals rough sleeping or at risk of rough sleeping with substance use concerns and other unmet needs, which may include mental or physical health, relationships, finances or criminal justice involvement.

You will play a crucial role acting as the main care coordinator for an assigned group of service users, coordinating tailor made packages of care and providing vital support, including comprehensive assessments, recovery planning, one to one key work, recognised psychosocial interventions and harm minimisation.

Everything we do aims to positively impact the lives of rough sleepers or those at risk of rough sleeping. In order to be considered for this role you will need 2 years' full-time experience of working with people with alcohol and/or drug problems and/or people with complex and multiple needs within a 4-year period as well as being able to demonstrate experience of case management and delivering care coordination in drug and alcohol or a directly related field.

We are looking for someone who is dedicated and passionate about supporting others to make change. You will be highly organised with excellent communication skills and able to manage your time effectively, working as part of the team with a co-operative approach to supporting colleagues to ensure a high-quality service is maintained, whilst applying your knowledge and understanding of drug and alcohol issues.

There is an element of flexibility around working hours required by the postholder. A willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check is also a requirement of the post (the results of which would not necessarily exclude applicants from consideration).

Joining The Bridge Project means becoming part of a team that values you, your wellbeing, your growth, and your future. Alongside a rewarding career, you'll enjoy a benefits package designed to help you thrive:
  • Competitive salary that reflects your skills and contribution
  • 32 days of annual leave to rest, recharge, and enjoy life outside work
  • 5% employer pension contribution to support your long‑term financial security
  • A dedicated Learning & Development programme to help you grow and progress
  • 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme offering confidential advice whenever you need it
  • Death‑in‑service benefit worth three times your salary for added peace of mind
  • Refer‑a‑friend bonus of £500 when you help us bring great people on board
  • Two hours of monthly wellbeing time to pause, connect, and reset with your team
  • A programme of mindfulness activities to boost focus on overall wellbeing
  • Access to a Blue Light Card, giving you discounts across hundreds of retailers, restaurants, and leisure brands.

The Bridge Project is proud to be a Mindful Employer, championing a workplace where wellbeing truly matters.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and adults and to creating safe, inclusive services. All staff are expected to share this commitment
