The Debtors Team plays a vital part in ensuring that Newport City Council's sundry debts and miscellaneous income is billed and collected as quickly and efficiently as possible. The Council has successfully implemented a new finance system with integrated invoicing and payments module, and is seeking to appoint an individual that can help to maximise the potential of the new system.

We are looking for someone with experience of invoicing, credit control and working with a diverse range of customers, the person we are looking for has an eye for detail, system thinking and the ability to streamline processes to be more efficient and ensure that our billing, collection and recovery processes run smoothly.

You would be working in a small team and will manage staff responsible for the smooth running of the billing and collection functions.
