We are recruiting a Residential Child Care Worker at Caerphilly County Borough Council.Working hours: 37

For the role, we ask that you have: - The ability and commitment to work towards Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) within a specific timescale identified by the Team Manager or equivalent qualifications as required by Social Care Wales.
- Experience of working with vulnerable children in a paid or unpaid capacity.
- A Full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence to drive a Council vehicle to transport children, young people on a regular basis.

The Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) National Minimum Standards for Children's Homes state that individuals providing care must be at least 18 years old and must be at least 4 years older than the oldest child accommodated. This is a protected characteristic under the occupational requirement of the post in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.
