About the roleDo you have experience with in vivo electrophysiology, two-photon imaging, behavioural tasks, brain tissue processing, staining and microscopy? Join our group to work on projects exploring the effects of ultrasound on the brain in health, neurodegenerative disease , and cognitive decline .
What you would be doingIn this role you will be part of a team that is investigating the effects of therapeutic ultrasound on the brain. You will be performing electrophysiology recordings, two-photon imaging in mouse models, processing, staining and imaging brain sections in moue models of Alzheimer's, ageing and in health .
What we are looking forSomeone who is enthusiastic about the project, independent, collaborative, a good team player, with excellent organisational skills.
We are looking to hire a friendly, motivated and independent candidate with experience with in vivo electrophysiology in mice, two-photon calcium imaging, behavioural tasks and/or therapeutic ultrasound in vivo treatment experience are a bonus but not essential, and experience with tissue processing, staining and imaging. Specifically, we are looking for someone with electrophysiology/calcium-imaging expertise if possible.

This role is for a full-time fixed-term contract for 18 months, with the opportunity of an extension.
