Job description
Salary Range:
£17.39 - £20.43
We are committed to equality, diversity and inclusion, creating a community where colleagues feel respected and valued. We aim to reflect the diversity of our students and communities, and to strengthen our university through collaboration and diverse perspectives, across all roles at the University.
This research post will support Dr Harriet Thiery (Co-Investigator), Professor Joe Cook (Principal Investigator) and Dr Katy Adams on the Yorkshire Policy Innovation Partnership project and HEIF: Enabling the Implementation of the Strengths-Based Model to Evidence Prevention in Social Care - Phase Two.
The project is a knowledge exchange and evaluation programme supporting local authorities and partner organisations to implement the research team's Strengths-Based Model (SBM) for evaluating prevention. Building on the first phase of the programme, Phase Two focuses on embedding and refining the model in practice, strengthening the evidence generated through its application, and producing learning to support wider implementation.
The Research Assistant will contribute to the delivery of the programme, including supporting partner organisations to apply the evaluation tools, gathering and analysing research evidence, and contributing to the development of research outputs and practical resources. The role will involve working collaboratively with the academic team and external partners to support the implementation of the SBM and generate robust, practically relevant evidence about preventative approaches in social care.
The researcher will be based in Hull University Business School and will report directly to Dr Harriet Thiery.
