We are now seeking a Research Academy Administrative Officer to join our team and help deliver the next phase of this exciting journey.

Here's more about the role and what we're looking for:

As Research Academy Administrative Officer , you will be at the heart of the Academy's operations, providing high-quality administrative support that enables the team to deliver an ambitious programme of activities and events.

This role is offered as a fixed-term maternity cover position and presents an excellent opportunity to gain experience within a high-profile University initiative, working closely with senior leaders, researchers and professional services colleagues across the institution. You will:

  • Support the day-to-day administration of the Research Academy and its programmes.
  • Help coordinate and deliver events, workshops and networking activities.
  • Organise meetings for operational and advisory groups, preparing papers and taking minutes.
  • Support financial administration, monitoring expenditure and producing reports.
  • Coordinate travel, purchasing and other administrative processes.
  • Assist with communications and stakeholder engagement activities across the University's research community and external partners.
  • Contribute to the smooth operation of the Research Academy Hub systems and help create a welcoming and professional environment for colleagues and visitors.
