Working closely with the maintenance team youll ensure all areas of the service are spotless and be able to confidently deliver high standard cleaning services. Main duties of the job

In this role, you'll work 30 hours weekly as a vital member of the housekeeping team in a facility supporting adults with challenging behavior and high support needs. Your primary responsibilities will include cleaning various areas of the service, such as wards, office spaces, bedrooms, and visitor areas. Collaborating with the maintenance team, you'll ensure high-standard cleaning through training and professional development opportunities provided by Elysium Healthcare. Key duties involve adhering to hospital security policies, active team participation, maintaining phone etiquette, fostering good relations with staff, visitors, and service users, promoting a positive culture, completing assigned tasks, and attending annual mandatory training sessions.

Location: Furness Road, Workington, Cumbria, CA14 3PD

You will be working at Gregory House, a Learning Disability and Autism service, providing care and support to 22 adults who have a Learning Disability and/or Mental Health needs. You will work alongside the team helping to provide a specialist provision. The service has an enhanced level of support to allow people with continuing challenging behaviour and high support needs to be cared for in the least restrictive setting possible, but within a service which is robust and structured enough to meet their ongoing needs and risks.
