We're crrently recriting for a fll time Site Operative to join or team at or Recycling Centre in Braintree. Please note as a site operative yo may be reqired to work weekends, both Satrdays and Sndays. Yo will receive a 6% flat rate allowance for any Sndays worked.

What will yo be doing?

As a Recycling Centre Site Operative, yor responsibilities will inclde bt not be limited to:

Assisting the pblic with any qestions, qeries, or complaints.

Maintaining a clean, tidy, and risk-free site.

Assisting in providing clear instrctions to sbcontractors / haliers.

Operating plant machinery and overseeing waste movements.

Ensring proper storage of materials for optimal recycling.

Ensring compliance with safety standards.

Contribting to safe and efficient site operations.

Spporting the team with administrative tasks as and when reqired.

To assist with operations, on occasions yo may be reqired to work at an alternative Recycling Centre.

The Experience Yo Will Bring

Essential:

Able to work on foot for lengthy periods of time.

Ability to work withot spervision as well as part of a team.

Experience within a cstomer facing position.

Able to complete manal handling tasks.

Able to complete basic reading and writing tasks.

A willingness to learn new systems.

Willing to complete training necessary to flfil the role, i.e. First Aid, Plant Operator, Fire Marshall

Desirable:

Fll Driving License

Compter literate (especially Microsoft Excel and Otlook) with good administration skills.

IOSH Working Safely or eqivalent safety accreditation.

NPORS or similar Plant Operators Licence/Qalification on Material Handler, with previos experience operating plant machinery preferably within the waste indstry.

Please note that the job role reqires yo to be mobile throghot an operational area. Therefore, the post holder will need to have a driving licence and access to a vehicle, or the ability to meet the mobility reqirements of the role throgh other means.
