We are seeking an organised, proactive, and customer-focused
Recruitment Advisor to join our People Team. This is an excellent opportunity for an
experienced recruitment or HR professional with a
strong administrative background who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering an outstanding recruitment experience.
As Recruitment Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the
attraction, recruitment, and onboarding of talented individuals across a wide range of academic and professional services roles. You will manage multiple vacancies simultaneously, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and compliant recruitment process from advertising through to appointment.
What You'll Be Doing: - Coordinating the end-to-end recruitment process for a variety of vacancies.
- Producing and publishing recruitment adverts across multiple platforms.
- Conduct initial candidate screening and shortlisting prior to submission to hiring managers.
- Managing candidate applications and ensuring accurate records are maintained within the HR system.
- Scheduling interviews and assessment activities, liaising with candidates and hiring managers.
- Supporting pre-employment checks and onboarding activities.
- Providing advice and guidance to managers on recruitment processes, policies, and best practice.
- Maintaining recruitment data, and ensuring compliance with legislative and organisational requirements.
- Building positive relationships with candidates, recruitment agencies, and internal stakeholders.
- Supporting recruitment campaigns and initiatives aimed at attracting diverse talent.
About You We are looking for someone who combines strong recruitment knowledge with exceptional administration and organisational skills.
Essential Experience: - Previous experience within a recruitment, recruitment administration, talent acquisition, or HR recruitment role.
- Excellent administrative skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience coordinating multiple recruitment activities and managing competing priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and HR/recruitment systems.
- A customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering an excellent candidate experience.
- Knowledge of UK employment legislation relating to recruitment and selection.
Desirable Experience: - Experience working within the education sector or a large complex organisation.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, compliance, and right-to-work checking processes.
- CIPD qualification or recruitment-related qualification.
