Quality Assurance and Improvement Officer

Job description

Quality Assurance and Improvement Officer working with our commissioned providers to monitor and support excellent standards of care provision through engagement, intervention, assessments, intelligence and risk analysis.

The Quality Assurance and Improvement Officer is required to closely monitor the quality of commissioned services by working with providers within their portfolio area, adult social care teams, health professionals and other external stakeholders to ensure people who are receiving services are getting the best quality of care, that services are value for money and that providers and the wider market remain sustainable.

The applicant must have good experience of Quality Assurance and Improvement in a Health and/or Social Care environment. They require excellent communication skills and the ability to develop relationships with a range of stakeholders. They should have good organisational skills, be able to prioritise tasks and manage their own workloads to ensure team deadlines and targets are met.
