QA Automation Tester - Financial Services We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Tester to join a fast-paced financial services technology environment, delivering strategic change across business-critical applications and data platforms. The successful candidate will design, build and maintain automated testing frameworks, execute end-to-end testing activities, and drive quality engineering across the SDLC. Working within Agile teams, you will collaborate with developers, business analysts and stakeholders to ensure application stability, data integrity and release quality. Experience within enterprise-scale environments, strong automation expertise, SQL, API testing and CI/CD practices are essential. Required Skills & ExperienceProven experience as a QA Automation Tester within large enterprise environmentsStrong hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or similar automation frameworksExperience testing web applications, APIs, distributed systems and data platformsStrong SQL skills with backend data validation experienceAbility to build automation frameworks from scratch and enhance existing frameworksExperience with functional, integration, regression, system andStrong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC and Agile/ScrumDefect management, root cause analysis and troubleshooting expertiseExperience producing test plans, test strategies, test evidence and quality metricsExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsAbility to support production releases and post-implementation verificationDesirable SkillsFinancial Services or Investment Banking experienceExperience testing risk, finance, regulatory reporting or data platformsExposure to Azure or AWSExperience testing ETL, data warehouses and integration solutionsPerformance, security and non-functional testing knowledgeExperience working with global onshore/offshore teamsISTQB certification and/or Automation Testing certificationsAdditional RequirementsAble to work onsite 3 days per week in Canary Wharf or Liverpool StreetRight to work in the UK without sponsorshipMust not have worked for or participated in recruitment processes with the client within the last 6 years.
