Job description

Amazon opened its virtual doors in 1995 and strives to be the world's most customer-centric company, where customers can find and discover anything they might want to buy online. Amazon Access Points is growing and we are working to create a world class delivery experience for customers through alternate delivery options - lockers and pickup points. The Program Manager - Operations will be responsible for the performance management of our Amazon Hub Counter product. The successful candidate will build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners - including Amazon Hub Counter partners, technology, Customer Service, and Operations and Business Development counterparts across the EU. The PM must be both analytical and creative, seeking out ways to improve customer and partner experience, and executing on those ideas. Strong interpersonal skills are also important as the position will have frequent interaction with senior leadership at Amazon and partner companies.

The Operations Manager will:
• Manage strategic relationships with internal and external partners
• Become an expert on the Amazon Hub Counter product and drive continuous improvement in performance while the business continues its rapid growth
• Identify and execute on opportunities to improve the way we work with partners
• Lead and participate in projects, including new product and feature launches, process improvements, and geographic expansion
• Partner with global counterparts to innovate on behalf of the business and develop best practices
• Develop materials for Customer Service and partners
• Report on daily, weekly, monthly KPIs and projects to senior leadership and partners
• Perform data analysis and develop actionable insights about business performance to drive change

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduated in the last 6 months or will graduate in June 2020.
• Knowledge of forecasting and planning methods
• A passion for developing best in class customer delivery experience
• Strong bias for action, with willingness to roll up sleeves and get things done
• An analytical approach to measuring/optimizing performance
• Ability to influence peers and stakeholders at all levels
• Experience working with partners outside your organization
• Comfortable with ambiguity and able to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
• Fluent in English, Spanish or another EU language a strong plus
• Willingness to travel (10%)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL)
