PRODUCT MANAGER - FOOD SLICING & PROCESSING EQUIPMENT - UK - EXCELLENT SALARY + BONUS + CAR ALLOWANCE + BENEFITS

If the answers are yes, we are hiring for a Product Manager on behalf of a global leader in food processing and packaging technology.

This is a highly visible, strategic position responsible for driving the growth of an established slicing and food processing equipment portfolio across the UK. Working closely with sales teams, customers and manufacturing colleagues, you will act as the market expert for a range of world-class processing solutions used throughout the food manufacturing sector.

The client is open to considering candidates from a variety of backgrounds, including Product Management, Applications Engineering, Technical Sales and Field Service Engineering, providing they possess strong technical knowledge of food processing equipment and the commercial aptitude to influence customer purchasing decisions.

WHAT YOU NEED

Experience within food processing, protein processing, meat processing, dairy processing or packaging machinery

Background in Product Management, Product Specialist, Applications Engineering, Technical Sales, Business Development or Field Service Engineering

Strong technical understanding of industrial food processing equipment

Ability to engage and build relationships with food manufacturing customers

Commercial awareness with the ability to identify growth opportunities and influence customer investment decisions

Experience delivering technical demonstrations, training, commissioning, service support or application advice

Understanding of yield improvement, throughput optimisation, ROI calculations or process efficiency would be advantageous

Full UK driving licence

NICE TO HAVES

Experience with slicing, portioning, pressing, food preparation or packaging equipment

Knowledge of protein, deli, bacon, cooked meat, poultry, seafood or cheese processing environments

Capital equipment experience gained within food manufacturing

Previous experience with OEMs supplying food processing or packaging technology

Exposure to automation, production line integration or applications engineering

DAY TO DAY

Act as the UK product champion for a specialist food processing portfolio

Support the sales team with technical expertise throughout the sales cycle

Develop and execute product growth strategies across the UK market

Identify new business opportunities and emerging market trends

Work directly with key food manufacturing customers and stakeholders

Deliver equipment demonstrations, presentations and application support

Provide product training and technical guidance to internal and external teams

Collaborate with colleagues across sales, service and manufacturing functions

Monitor competitor activity and support strategic business decisions

Drive profitable revenue growth and increased market share within the product category
