  • Work closely with teaching assistants to ensure high levels of care and learning support
  • Collaborate with therapists, medical staff, parents, and carers
  • Promote pupils' independence, engagement, and wellbeing

Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - desirable (candidates with extensive SEN experience may be considered)
  • Experience working with pupils with PMLD, SLD, or complex needs
  • Strong understanding of EHCPs and personalised learning approaches
  • Calm, patient, and nurturing teaching style
  • Confidence supporting pupils with physical and medical needs
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to work full-time in the Princes Risborough area

Desirable
  • Experience in a specialist or PMLD setting
  • Training in Makaton, PECS, or sensory-based learning approaches
  • Knowledge of moving and handling procedures
  • Experience working alongside external professionals (SALT, OT, physiotherapists)
  • Team Teach or behaviour support training

Why This Role?
  • Work in a highly specialised and supportive educational setting
  • Make a profound difference in the lives of pupils with complex needs
