Salary: A3 pt 3, FTE salary £25,949/ Actual Salary £5,877.90
Hours: 10 hours per week, 11:30 am - 1:30pm, Term time only
Contract: Temporary for 12 months in the first instance with to potential permanent
Location: Calverley CE Primary School

We are transforming lunchtimes and are looking for a Play Team Member to join our lunchtime play team. We have been working with Outdoor Play and Learning (OPAL) over the past 2 years to develop our use of our amazing outdoor space to ensure rich, inclusive and exciting lunchtime play for all our children. Our successful Play Team Members will have the following skills and attributes:

• Values outdoor play.
• Good at listening to and socialising with children.
• Understands the play needs of children and young people.
• Motivated to provide a stimulating but safe environment.
• Be patient and tolerant.
• Aware of health and safety issues.
• Able to work well as a member of a team
• Good communication skills.
• Flexible and adaptable.
• Have a sense of fun.
• Have a reasonable level of physical fitness.
• Knowledge and understanding of the values of play
• Be creative, intuitive and think outside the box.
• Awareness of safeguarding responsibilities and processes.
• Administering of First aid (training will be provided).
• Able to build good relationships with children and their parents and carers.
