The Faculty of Health, Medicine and Society is seeking a proactive and organised Placement Officer to join our friendly and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys coordinating complex processes, building relationships, and delivering an excellent service.

You will play a key role in supporting student placements across our healthcare programmes. Working closely with the Placement Manager and Placement Coordinator, you will support placement allocation and capacity management, liaise with academics and placement providers, coordinate placement-related activities and help ensure compliance with professional and regulatory requirements. You will also contribute to the development and improvement of placement processes and systems.

We are looking for someone with strong administrative, organisational, and communication skills, and the confidence to build effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. You will be confident using IT systems and databases and able to manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment. Experience of working in Higher Education or a similar complex organisation would be advantageous. There will be travel required to other sites.

Educated to A-Level standard (or equivalent), you will enjoy working collaboratively while taking ownership of your workload.
