Job DescriptionThe current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role.
We're looking for current Sport students to take part in an upcoming professional photography shoot for undergraduate marketing and recruitment campaigns.
The shoot will take place at our Platt Lane sports facilities and will help showcase the student experience within the School of Sport and Exercise Sciences, with a particular focus on the BSc (Hons) Sport Coaching and Development course.
What to Expect
The photography will capture:

- Practical teaching and learning activities
- Coaching environments
- Strength and conditioning sessions
- Performance analysis activities
- Students working independently and in groups
- Portrait and lifestyle imagery
Shoot Details
Location: Platt Lane Sports Complex, Manchester
Date: Thursday, 1 October 2026
Duration: You will be assigned a half-day session, either 9:00am to 12:00pm or 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Exact working hours and schedules will be allocated based on your availability on the day, so please let us know your availability in advance.
Where the Photography Will Be Used
The photography produced will be used across a range of University marketing and recruitment channels, including but not limited to:

- The Manchester Met website
- Advertising campaigns
- Social media
- Event presentations
- Email communications
By taking part in this shoot, you will be required to provide consent for your image to be used in University marketing materials by signing a media consent form.
Person SpecificationWho We're Looking For
We're looking for current for current Sport students who are comfortable being photographed in a range of practical sport and coaching environments. You will ideally be a current student on one of our sport degrees.
No previous modelling experience is required.
What to Wear
Participants should wear their Institute of Sport kit.
Further guidance will be provided before the shoot.
