Essential Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • GCSE English and maths at C grade or above or equivalent.


Desirable criteria
  • NVQ/QFC level2/apprenticeship in related subject.


Other Job Requirements

Essential criteria
  • Must have suitable private transport insured for class 1 business use and be able to travel to community clinics and transport samples for analysis.


Knowledge, Skills, Training and Experience

Essential criteria
  • Evidence of manual dexterity and technical work
  • Experience of working as part of a team.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and independently.
  • Understanding of the job requirements.


Desirable criteria
  • Previous work involving Phlebotomy
  • Work in a healthcare role or similar


Personal Qualities

Essential criteria
  • Pleasant disposition.
  • Ability to show initiative.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and independently.
