Qualifications

Essential criteria

• GCSE English and Maths (Pass) or equivalent
• Full ECDL or equivalent experience

Desirable criteria

• Level 2 NVQ units in relevant Pharmaceutical area or equivalent

Experience

Essential criteria

• Experience of working to deadlines
• Experience of data inputting - raising orders/invoicing
• Experience of running simple reports using Excel or similar

Desirable criteria

• Previous experience of working with pharmaceutical products
• Experience of raising orders/invoicing

Knowledge

Essential criteria

• Knowledge of office procedures
• Knowledge of sales and purchase ledger
• Understanding of the need of confidentiality awareness at all times

Desirable criteria

• Knowledge of the NHS
• Awareness of medicine names

Personal Skills

Essential criteria

• Calm under pressure
• Problem-solving skills
• Good, friendly and efficient telephone manner
• Accurate at inputting data

• Able to regularly travel between Hospital sites
