Job summaryUndertakes duties in support of the Pharmacists and other Technical Staff. Assists in the provision of a safe and effective pharmaceutical service in order to meet department and corporate objectives.
This role can be offered as a developmental post for those initially employed at band 2.Candidates must meet the apprenticeship funding eligibility criteria as set out by the Department of Education. Main duties of the job- Reception duties within the department
- Receipt and storage of medications
- Provide a ward stock topping up service to wards and departments
- Dispensing pharmaceutical products
- Contribute to 7 day service, Bank Holidays and Late Night Rotas
- Undertake NVQ level 2 in Pharmaceutical Services

Person Specification Qualifications Essential - GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent
- Commitment to training to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent if not already obtained
