What you will do:
- Provide clinical ward cover for inpatient services, primarily focused on Care of the Elderly (COE).
- Ensure the safe and effective management of medicines within the department.
- Lead and manage the operational and clinical pharmacy activities, including staff supervision and rota planning.
- Deputise for the Head of Department as needed, ensuring smooth operation of the pharmacy services.
- Contribute to policy and SOP reviews and writing.
- Support the upcoming EPMA rollout by leveraging your experience with electronic prescribing systems.
- Deliver comprehensive clinical pharmacy services, including medicines optimisation, patient reviews, and medicine supply.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to uphold high standards of care.
