About the roleYou will support the People Systems Manager with the operational management of the Division's use of ICIS and other HR systems. This will include providing user support, being involved in system testing and improvements, supporting the introduction of new functionality, and coordinating the auditing and cleansing of HR data to improve data quality and support effective operational delivery.
What you would be doingAs a key member of the team, you will support and maintain Imperial's HR systems, ensuring they operate effectively and that user queries and system issues are resolved promptly. With a customer-focused approach, you will build strong working relationships within the team and across the University. You will be involved in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system upgrades and new functionality, work with ICT on system improvements, and provide guidance to People Function colleagues on using HR systems.
The role also involves system administration, data audits and cleansing, user access reviews, annual HR processes such as pay reviews and increments, and supporting data preparation for future ERP migration. You will maintain process guidance, monitor system updates, promote data quality, and work collaboratively across the People Function and other departments to ensure a reliable, customer-focused service.

- Experience with a range of IT systems with a keen desire to learn about new systems and software.
- A structured and methodical approach to problem solving and analysis.
- Experience delivering a high-quality and responsive customer focused service.
- Sound understanding of GDPR and the importance of confidentiality as you will be working with HR related data.
- Ability to maintain and develop relationships with an array of stakeholders in a large complex environment.
- A flexible and positive attitude.
- Ability to manage your own workload and to adapt to changing priorities within a busy environment.
